How this estimate works
A statistical model, refit weekly across the in-stock catalog, estimates what a coffee with these listed attributes typically sells for per ounce. Each multiplier compares one trait against the average lot in this market; the roaster line covers brand and sourcing together, which this model cannot separate. Bag size is shown separately, priced at the rate observed across sizes of the same coffee, because it says nothing about the coffee itself. The distribution counts every in-stock listing in the comparison group, with at least 15 listings from three roasters and no roaster supplying more than 60% of it. Decaf, blends, variety segments, processing families and bag formats stay separate. Origin, roast and selling currency can broaden as the group label indicates. Prices are converted to USD per ounce; shipping and differences in tax treatment are not adjusted. The model reads listed attributes only: the quality of the specific lot in the bag is not observable, so a price above the typical band is not evidence of overpricing.
Some listing details are missing or have limited model coverage, so the typical band shown is wider than usual.

Confidence2 of 7 signals on file
Score is heavily shrunk toward 50; treat as a placeholder until more sources arrive.
How confidence affects the score
Coverage measures signal availability, not cup quality. This coffee has 23% of the signal universe on file. Missing sources are dropped, remaining weights are renormalized, and the result is shrunk toward a neutral 50 baseline by 43% so one thin signal cannot carry the score on its own.
The math on file: renormalized base 65.2 shrunk to 58.8 + bonuses = 56.

Stone Creek has pretty much become my main local coffee source. I don't make it to the part of town where this new shop is located, but I've always had good experiences at the other shops I go to. I love their cold-brew growlers - I go through at least one a week through the summer.

...y this is all based on personal taste, but I'm about to purchase a Bialetti and am open to suggestions for my first bag of beans. I'm leaning towards picking up a bag of Stone Creek's Green Bike (I've had it in real espresso form before and liked it) but I could definitely be swayed. Unfortunately I live nowhere nea

...working from home I've been using cold brew to get my fix. So far I've been using pre-ground beans from various east coast companies. Cooper's and Stone Creek each have a cold-brew-specific dark Columbian ones that I have enjoyed, but I am not tied to super dark roasts. I was hoping to start buying local from Chicag

The best way to start the year is with a new flavor of coffee! Stone Creek Small Batch Reserve Both I would say, the packaging does bring a nice aesthetic to the presentation but indeed the flavor brings up the age and even though this reserve is a bit acidic I want to believe the bottle evens the flavor somehow.

I would love to come join the fun and watch, but unfortunately I'm stuck working. Just wanted to say that Stone Creek is definitely one of my favorite cafes, and all of the locations that I've been to have been superb. Keep doing what you're doing!
