Score is heavily shrunk toward 50; treat as a placeholder until more sources arrive.
How confidence affects the score
Coverage measures signal availability, not cup quality. This coffee has 23% of the signal universe on file. Missing sources are dropped, remaining weights are renormalized, and the result is shrunk toward a neutral 50 baseline by 43% so one thin signal cannot carry the score on its own.
The math on file: renormalized base 86.7 shrunk to 71.1 + bonuses = 73.

In August, my daughter was treated to a trip (by another family) to Europe. While in Milan, she bought me some beans. Ditta Artigianale Mamma Mia Espresso Blend. Their cafés are primarily in Firenze and Milano. The beans were roasted around 3 weeks before she bought them with a BBD of January. OmFFFFFFggg. I made some.

From Gregor Brown:
“Francesco Sanapo and Patrick Hoffer began this coffee shop a decade ago. Back in 2013. Well, they first started roasting coffee beans, supplying coffee shops, then they opened up their first coffee shop.”
“Unlike many of the coffee shops that pride themselves on having Italian coffee, Ditta Artigianale, when the locals and tourists come in, they deliver.”
