How this estimate works
A statistical model, refit weekly across the in-stock catalog, estimates what a coffee with these listed attributes typically sells for per ounce. Each multiplier compares one trait against the average lot in this market; the roaster line covers brand and sourcing together, which this model cannot separate. Bag size is shown separately, priced at the rate observed across sizes of the same coffee, because it says nothing about the coffee itself. The distribution counts every in-stock listing in the comparison group, with at least 15 listings from three roasters and no roaster supplying more than 60% of it. Decaf, blends, variety segments, processing families and bag formats stay separate. Origin, roast and selling currency can broaden as the group label indicates. Prices are converted to USD per ounce; shipping and differences in tax treatment are not adjusted. The model reads listed attributes only: the quality of the specific lot in the bag is not observable, so a price above the typical band is not evidence of overpricing.
Some listing details are missing or have limited model coverage, so the typical band shown is wider than usual.

How confidence affects the score
Coverage measures signal availability, not cup quality. This coffee has 43% of the signal universe on file. Missing sources are dropped, remaining weights are renormalized, and the result is shrunk toward a neutral 50 baseline by 0% so one thin signal cannot carry the score on its own.

Three Reddit posts give Olympia Coffee Roasters exceptionally favorable product feedback. A decaf review ranked Asterisk first and praised its juicy acidity. Other brewers called Morning Sun their best homemade cup and Big Truck the best espresso shot they had tasted.

...my mind, definitely drop it in a comment. Sugarcane/Ethyl Acetate decaffinated coffee is still the best, imo. The following list is from favorite to least favorite (i.e. the Olympia is #1). **EA = Ethyle Acetate (sugarcane) process** **SW = Swiss Water process** ------------------------- **Olympia | Asterisk, San Se

Today I used medium-dark whole beans from Olympia-Morning Sun with a 5 day old roast date (freshest I have used) in a french press. 31g and 500ml Grind setting on Baratza Encore ESP: 26 Medium Steeped for 4min, then stirred, and removed foam. Let sit for another 5min. Plunge just below surface, but not all the way. Pou

...e difference from mine. I had some store credit from an online vendor and bought a few of their bagged beans. Some I thought was meh, and then I tried this Olympia Big Truck and it is very good (honestly the best shot of espresso I ever had). I dialed in on my machine after a couple of shots.
