Roaster · Philadelphia, PA
7 lots in stock, mostly Ethiopia, El Salvador and Ecuador.
Coverage is below 50%. Available roaster-level evidence comes from Reddit. Per-lot evidence from SCA grades, Coffee Review entries, and public on-shop product ratings is limited across the catalog. With limited signal, scores are also pulled toward a neutral 50 baseline by the Cherrybook Index methodology, so lots can read flatter than the actual cup quality differences between them. The average Cherrybook Index therefore leans more heavily on roaster-level reputation than per-lot quality.

Per-lot signals (averaged)
Vary across lots; averaged over 7 in-stock lots.
Bonuses earned (per lot)
Base components are renormalized over whatever signals are available for each lot. SCA + Coffee Review are capped at 40% combined to keep the cupping story from dominating. Bonuses (accolades, awards, editorial coverage) and freshness decay are applied on top.

Five independent Reddit threads give Elixr Coffee a strongly favorable picture. Contributors praised its Lunar seasonal blend, berry-forward Ethiopian coffees, a notably sweet cafe cup, consistently strong shop offerings, and an El Vergel brew.
Elixr is so good! Their Lunar seasonal blend is the most incredible thing I've tasted! Fun fact, Whole Foods in the city has fresh stuff from local roasters for 2-3 dollars cheaper a bag...
A little late to this post, but this was a fantastic coffee. I had it along side Re-Animators Ethiopian, and a few other S.O.'s from Re-Animator and Elixr. This Natural Ethiopian was the clear stand out in my cuppings for it's berry notes. Now I'm searching for another Natural Ethiopian to see if I can replicate the be
I first saw one at a hole in the wall cafe with no name that used elixr coffee. It was to this day the most delicious, sweetest coffee I've had. Initially I thought the wave was just another pour over device, but I piggy backed one on another order for some sheet music. I tried both of our house blends in the kalitta w
I was just at Elixr for the first time. My shop has carried their coffee and its always been A+. The stock a lot of coffees from La Palma y el Tucan (must buy). The Konga they have on bar also won them 6th in the USRC.
...s curious if I should be adjusting my grind for these coffees to target the 3:30 mark as described in George Howell's method. Flavor wise it is still a great cup of coffee (Elixr La Palma Y El Tucan El Vergel), and I know that's what should dictate adjusting settings, but I wanted to see what everyone else does with
