How Cherrybook Index is calculatedavg coverage 25% · limited data
Coverage is below 50%. Available roaster-level evidence comes from Reddit. Per-lot evidence from SCA grades, Coffee Review entries, and public on-shop product ratings is limited across the catalog. With limited signal, scores are also pulled toward a neutral 50 baseline by the Cherrybook Index methodology, so lots can read flatter than the actual cup quality differences between them. The average Cherrybook Index therefore leans more heavily on roaster-level reputation than per-lot quality.

Two independent Reddit threads give Foundry Coffee a favorable picture. One commenter called it great, while another recalled a fruitier, lighter roast and a great Rocko coffee.

- r/Coffee · 105↑ · UK people, what is your favourite roaster these days?
...- its seasonal and imo lost its way- but want to try its current version, they had been very consistent My wife loves the slightly lighter roast of Alain Ducase cafe in Kings Cross ( but crazy price) My recollection of foundry is a fruitier lighter roast (great Rocko ) so i also suggest Crankhouse, Curve and worksho
- r/Coffee · 10↑ · Recommendations for Sheffield (UK)?
Foundry is great. Non roaster cafés would be Upshot espresso (tend to have Scandinavian roasters), Tamper coffee and Steamyard (they're regular roaster is Caravan from London).
