Hibiscus Florality, Lemon Drop Candy Brightness, and Cherry on a washed lot.
Tolima, CO · Washed

Roaster · Denver, CO
18 lots in stock, mostly Ethiopia, Rwanda and Peru.
Coverage is below 50%. Available roaster-level evidence comes from Reddit. Per-lot evidence from SCA grades, Coffee Review entries, and public on-shop product ratings is limited across the catalog. With limited signal, scores are also pulled toward a neutral 50 baseline by the Cherrybook Index methodology, so lots can read flatter than the actual cup quality differences between them. The average Cherrybook Index therefore leans more heavily on roaster-level reputation than per-lot quality.
Roaster signals
Apply to every lot from this roaster.
Per-lot signals (averaged)
Vary across lots; averaged over 18 in-stock lots.
Bonuses earned (per lot)
Base components are renormalized over whatever signals are available for each lot. SCA + Coffee Review are capped at 40% combined to keep the cupping story from dominating. Bonuses (accolades, awards, editorial coverage) and freshness decay are applied on top.

Five independent Reddit threads give Huckleberry Roasters a consistently favorable picture. A Denver visitor called its tasting flight some of the best coffee they had experienced, especially the espresso. Other brewers praised smooth, full-flavored Chemex cups, strong cafe coffee, a fruit-forward natural Ethiopian, and consistency across three different coffees.
...olorado knows what's up when it comes to coffee. I visited four different spots, two in Denver and two in Boulder. The first place I went was Huckleberry at Dairy Block. Honestly, some of the best coffee I've ever had. The thing that I loved the most was that they offered a sample platter on their menu that included
...store and my blade grinder have always served me well. That is until for a wedding present I received a Chemex and some wonderful roasts from Denver, CO (shoutout to Huckleberry). I was excited until I realized it seemed I didn't have the necessary equipment - burr grinder, scale and gooseneck kettle. Ordered some e
...ffee places we tried in NYC are underwhelming, but we recently took a trip to Denver and had some really great pour-overs and drip (Corvus, Little Owl, and Huckleberry were great!). I initially used a Comandante C40 for all my grinding in DC, but sold the C40 when I moved to NYC I bought a Barazta Forte BG which was

I have tried 3 diff coffees from Huckleberry, based out of Denver. As consistent good coffee as I have had! On par with Parlor for my favorite roaster in the country. Currently drinking a Yirg. Amazing stuff.
