Brazil - Mundo Novo
Milk Chocolate, Caramel, and Raspberry on a natural lot.
Cerrado Mineiro, BR · Natural
Roaster · Brooklyn, NY
11 lots in stock, mostly Colombia, Brazil and Honduras.
Coverage is below 50%. Available roaster-level evidence comes from Reddit. Per-lot evidence from SCA grades, Coffee Review entries, and public on-shop product ratings is limited across the catalog. With limited signal, scores are also pulled toward a neutral 50 baseline by the Cherrybook Index methodology, so lots can read flatter than the actual cup quality differences between them. The average Cherrybook Index therefore leans more heavily on roaster-level reputation than per-lot quality.
Roaster signals
Apply to every lot from this roaster.
Per-lot signals (averaged)
Vary across lots; averaged over 11 in-stock lots.
Bonuses earned (per lot)
Base components are renormalized over whatever signals are available for each lot. SCA + Coffee Review are capped at 40% combined to keep the cupping story from dominating. Bonuses (accolades, awards, editorial coverage) and freshness decay are applied on top.

One thread author reports using Partners Brooklyn blend beans for pourover over a three-year period, describing the cup as rich, round, almost chocolatey, with zero acidity and no bitterness, though noting a recent negative change in the coffee. Another commenter gives Partners a thumbs down in comparison to other coffee experiences. Two other threads mention the roaster solely in catalog or database project listings.

My wife and I found our pourover sweet spot making Partners Brooklyn blend beans, ground with a Barzata Encore grinder, and poured using a ceramic Hario V60 and pre-wet paper filters. We’ve always used tap water, and it’s always been more than fine. We’ve used this setup for the past 3 years, occasionally straying from
…time I tried Forum's Yirgacheffe it blew my mind, second time not so much (I think the barista was the issue). Black River was fine, nothing special (Guatemala Guaya'b), Queen City was solid (Yirgacheffe). Tend to like fruitier, lighter roasts. I've also tried Coffee Project in NYC (amazing) and Partners (thumbs down)
