Two Reddit threads are positive about Speckled Ax, with one freshness caveat. A brewer called the Birddog coffee awesome but said its flavor seemed to fade around two and a half weeks after roast. In a Portland discussion, a recent visitor praised the staff and coffee and said the bags tasted as good from their home machine as they had in the shop.

...ng my Bambino Plus and I continue to aim for 18g in, 36g out in 30 seconds. Using the Saint Anthony PF double basket, single wall. Any ideas? I could swap to the IMS which I haven’t been a huge fan of for fresh beans tbh. Medium roast. This happened with Speckled Ax Birddog (which is awesome btw) and Red Bird Espres
