Noted

Sparse signal

Confidence2 of 7 signals on file

Score is heavily shrunk toward 50; treat as a placeholder until more sources arrive.

How confidence affects the score

Coverage measures signal availability, not cup quality. This coffee has 23% of the signal universe on file. Missing sources are dropped, remaining weights are renormalized, and the result is shrunk toward a neutral 50 baseline by 43% so one thin signal cannot carry the score on its own.

The math on file: renormalized base 83.0 shrunk to 69.0 + bonuses = 71.

Two independent Reddit threads give Broadsheet Coffee a strongly favorable picture. One drinker called a Huila coffee funky and good and their best cup in a while, while another listed Broadsheet among Boston-area favorites.

  • r/Coffee · 31↑ · Two Step Fermentation or The Best Cup I've Had in a While

My local roaster (shout out to Broadsheet in Cambridge, MA) recently started selling a light roast from Huila, Colombia, producer Diego Garcia, that is so...funky and good! I had to write about it. I don't think I've ever had a coffee that uses this process, and I'm curious to know if others have and what they thought.

  • r/Coffee · 29↑ · Best coffee in Boston?

Any coffee recommendations in the Boston area? (Either roasters or cafes.) So far my favorites are Barismo 364 and Broadsheet in Cambridge, and Gracenote near Chinatown, but I expect there are more good ones out there. Much appreciated!
