Batch roasted weekly · ships in ~2d

Roasted on a scheduled weekly rhythm. Very fresh if you order right after a roast day; less so near the end of the cycle.

We roast three days a week. Orders placed later in the week may be subject to a short delay due to low inventory and will be roasted the following Monday. source ↗

Cherrybook Index (CBI)

Evidence-of-quality score, not a cup score. Methodology

75

Strong

Sparse signal

Confidence2 of 7 signals on file

Score is heavily shrunk toward 50; treat as a placeholder until more sources arrive.

How confidence affects the score

Coverage measures signal availability, not cup quality. This coffee has 23% of the signal universe on file. Missing sources are dropped, remaining weights are renormalized, and the result is shrunk toward a neutral 50 baseline by 43% so one thin signal cannot carry the score on its own.

The math on file: renormalized base 85.3 shrunk to 70.3 + bonuses = 75.

I too don't like spending $30+ on coffee every week and have found that Dead Reckoning from corvus is a great cheaper bag. It's a blend with natural Ethiopian in the mix which really shines through. I used to get their natural African du jour but this is just consistently good.

Fwiw I've been to Corvus and like their coffee, I wouldn't say their as light as others, I had some great espresso and drinks there. If your in Denver near them, try their ni
