Noted

Sparse signal

Confidence2 of 7 signals on file

Score is heavily shrunk toward 50; treat as a placeholder until more sources arrive.

How confidence affects the score

Coverage measures signal availability, not cup quality. This coffee has 23% of the signal universe on file. Missing sources are dropped, remaining weights are renormalized, and the result is shrunk toward a neutral 50 baseline by 43% so one thin signal cannot carry the score on its own.

The math on file: renormalized base 79.5 shrunk to 67.0 = 67.

...but it was a little out of the way and we ran out of time. I did get to visit two places in Boulder, though! The first place I went was Ozo at Pearl Mall. I loved the way that it looked and felt like a 90s/2nd wave shop, but they definitely had 3rd wave quality coffee. I got a cortado, and it was really, really good

I live in the Boulder area, I love Ozo's but I was wondering if anybody knew of any hidden gems or somewhere I haven't heard of! Edit: Just went to Boxcar. Oh. My. That Coffee was literally flawless, was probably the best cup of coffee I've ever had at a cafe and the best atmosphere 10/10 would recommend.

Ozo is rad! I met some of the guys that run the place last year while I was in Boulder on vacation. Then had the pleasure of competing with some of them during brewers cup this past year. Awesome people roasting some fantastic coffees.

  • r/Coffee · 4↑ · Best specialty coffees?

My husband and I both LOVE specialty coffees and really enjoy trying new ones. Some of our favorites include Ozo, Summit, and Blanchards. We like light to medium roasts the best but we’re willing to try darker roasts as well. What are some other good specialty coffees we should try? Edit: located in upstate New York bu

...a good grinder, water kettle with variable temp, scale, insulated press, and fresh beans. I have been making pretty good coffee with my setup. However, I went to Ozo coffee in Boulder, Co, where their french press is just immaculate; consisting of aromas and tastes I have not been able to extract from my coffee. So
