Sparse signal

Confidence2 of 7 signals on file

Score is heavily shrunk toward 50; treat as a placeholder until more sources arrive.

How confidence affects the score

Coverage measures signal availability, not cup quality. This coffee has 23% of the signal universe on file. Missing sources are dropped, remaining weights are renormalized, and the result is shrunk toward a neutral 50 baseline by 43% so one thin signal cannot carry the score on its own.

The math on file: renormalized base 83.7 shrunk to 69.4 + bonuses = 74.

Two Reddit threads give Rogue Wave Coffee strongly favorable marks for its coffee. In one, a commenter called a Rogue Wave Clearpath coffee really good and described the coffee under discussion as one of the better ones for them. In the other, a poster rated Rogue Wave 10/10, recommended it, and said the roaster's regularly priced beans were always freshly roasted and tasted great, while questioning the price of smaller, more expensive bags.

I figured I couldn't have been the only one to experience the shipping delays/re-routes! Shipping within the US has gotten a bit weird, too. Yes, it's one of the better ones for me, too. I had another of the Rogue Wave Clearpath Coffees (El Mirador) and it was really good, too, but not as intense as this one.

...for less than half the amount? I wonder if there is a significant difference in these beans or maybe they are just tougher to come by/import. Has anybody tried beans with this price and was it worth it? If anyone is curious, I’m referring to Rogue Wave Coffee in Edmonton. They are 10/10 in my opinion, would recommen
