Burundi produces some of the most consistent coffees in our catalog, and this collection of 20 current lots highlights why. The vast majority of these selections come from the Kayanza region, where high altitudes and careful processing define the profile. We see a heavy reliance on the Bourbon and Red Bourbon varieties across the board. While washed processing remains the standard for 16 of these lots, we are seeing more experimentation with anaerobic honey and natural methods from roasters like Saint Frank, George Howell, and Nomad.
