Producer overview
Long Miles Coffee Project operates across Burundi, sourcing coffee from diverse regions including Bumba Hill, Butanyerera, Gaharo, Gedeb, Kayanza, and Muramvya. Their production occurs at altitudes ranging from 1672 to 2200 meters above sea level.
The varietal landscape is dominated by bourbon and red bourbon, which account for the majority of their catalog entries. Other varieties represented in their production include SL34, Mibirizi, and SL28.
The producer maintains a diverse process portfolio. While washed coffees are the most frequent, they also produce natural, anaerobic honey, and honey-processed lots. This range of treatments allows for a variety of profiles within their catalog.
